Tip Tuesday - Swipe Stamping Technique

Today's tip Tuesday is a stamping technique. Some techniques are as easy as inking your stamp and sliding it across the stamp pad to create visual lines on your image.

My Favorite Stamp Set Monday Poppy Sentiments CC42018

Do love poppies? I love most flowers and this one is my FAVORITE for this week, Poppy Sentiments (CC42018)

This stamp sent is part of two designed for Remembering Anzac Day. What drew me to it, in addition to the beautiful poppy images, the soft script font. Sending thinking of you cards is a fun way to touch someone's spirit and change their day.

Birthdays are FUN

Are you like me, love to send birthday cards, however time gets away from you? I am working to get better (on time) with sharing birthday wishes through snail mail cards!

Here is the latest set I created using Birthday Banners (C1837) and the Operation Smiles stamp set, You Make Me Happy (D1920)

The paper collection is scraps leftover from These Are My People. I love the patterns in this paper collection created as part of the These Are My People special . The Charcoal and Peach shimmer pens because you can never have enough sparkle. And leftover die cut pieces from my stash.

My Favorite Stamp Monday Blossoming Friendship D1916

Blossoming Friendship (D1916) is a beautiful stamp set with amazing floral images. The flower is an Australian Protea and with the 'G'day friend' sentiment it has an international flair.

I love the beautiful friendship sentiments create using both a simple and elegant font.

Today, I am sharing more the versatility of the attach tool in Design Space. When you want images to cut together in specifics space, attach is a great tool to use.

Thinking of You

We are having a fun virtual crop over on my Facebook VIP group. One of the projects we created together was a card. I used the These Are My People paper collection and the Operation Smile stamp set, You Make Me Happy (D1920).

Paper is Smoothie, light side, with splatter technique using Smoothie ink. Stamped image using Intensive Black ink, our best ink for coloring with alcohol markers. The card recipe is one of the card designs from the These Are My People Workshop Kit.

I thought it would be fun to go back to basics in Design Space. Sometimes a refresher is what we need.

Oh my this is the cutest fishy stamp set ever!! Create an underwater scene, let someone know how awesome they are, create amazing shakers, so many ideas too little time.

I use Intense Black for the fish and bubbles and colored the fish with Orange Blend Tri-Blend marker. I used Bluebird for the background and for the circle (a stash spinner card die cut leftover).
