My project is part of surprise for my monthly cropping buddies and a great way for me to use up some of last year's Fall paper collection and retired colors, Olive and Barn Red.

I added a little new with Fall colors from our ShinHan markers.

Christmas Cards with a Glitter Flair

There are those special cards you create for those special people and a good friend of mine, Susan, wanted to create a card like that at what I am calling our Advanced Christmas card class --

Gold glitter paper, poinsettias, embossing with pigment ink and a little greenery were used to make this first card one of my favorites

And don't forget the inside 

White Glitter paper and liquid glass are used in this second special card

A little Fern cardstock and some stash organza ribbon add a little more to this card - do you see the liquid glass on the ornaments.

And again, don't forget the inside.

Cricut Artiste Collection Birthday 

A Little Mojo Monday Challenge Christmas Card

Do you ever want a little creative challenge? Well, so do I and this week I decided to play along with Mojo Monday sketch 424.

Black, White Daisy, Cranberry cardstock with a little Cranberry Fundamental Assortment bow (there is a great Fundamentals special) and, of course, an ornament and rectangle for Art Philosophy and a rectangle from Artiste Cricut cartridge (need one of the CTMH cartridges, I would love to help you find the perfect match for you!) and last but not least a wonderful Christmas stamp set, Holly Jolly Christmas (D1657).

White Pines and Urban, What's On Your Craft Table?

White Pines and Tepee Card

I have seen the tepee card on Pinterest and put it on the 'someday' list, well, today is someday.

Champagne and Chocolate cardstock, White Pines pattern paper, Holly Jolly Christmas (D1657) stamp set, Artistry Cricut cartridge (greenry) and sparkles (little ones may be better for my next card).

This was my first attempt, next version will be using Urban paper pack for class next month!!

To close the card, I used our tiny hook&loop dots (Z1805)!

Get Back to Fundamentals a Technique Blog Hop

I love the Fundamental products offered by  Close To My Heart and when I found out that was the technique theme for November's Technique Blog Hop, I just had to hop in - pun intended!

If you have hopped from Haley's blog you are on the right track. This is a circle hop, so when you return from whence you started, you have seen it all!

My creation is a gift bag  made with Goldrush Fundamental paper (retired pattern), a Fern cardstock tag, Enchantment Fundamental stickers and Peacock Fundamental Assortment. Did I go overboard, well maybe, but it was so much fun.

I added a White Daisy 3" x 6" piece for contrast on the bottom.

I see this style bag with a Christmas theme being made at an upcoming class and crop!! My dear sweet Joan Nummy, a fellow CTMH sister and Rockin' Heart team member turned me on to this cute gift bag pattern and I searched Pinterest to find a tutorial for anyone else who would love to create one, click here for step by step instructions from Debbie's Designs or a video from Jackie Bolhuis.

Christmas Cards with White Pines

It is never too early to start on those Christmas cards!

November's card classes are all about Christmas.

Three cards from our awesome White Pines Card Workshop on the Go, two cards from Creative Insider workshop (because Close To My Heart wants us to succeed so they offer us resources), and one pop-up card using the Cricut Explore and the Close To My Heart cartridges. The beauty of the Close To My Heart Workshops on the Go is the amount of projects you can complete. Here is the second layout created from the White Pines Workshop on the Go.

This layout will work for Christmas or you can make a few changes and it will work for a winter family get together.

Love the stamp set -- Family Gatherings is one of my fav sentiments on the Workshops exclusive stamp set.

Jazz up the journaling piece with a few stamped images and a button from the White Pines Assortment (comes with the White Pines Workshop on the Go).

White Pines my FAVorite Paper Pack for November

There is always a special paper pack that I like to work with each month. This month White Pines is my go to paper. Christmas is around the corner and having all your Christmas layouts and cards ready will take a little holiday stress off you.

It was fun using Cheers (S1511) to add lines to the journaling block. The Artistry Cricut cartridge shapes coordinated with the White Pines Workshop on the Go stamp set! Another of those great Christmas stamp sets!!

The finishing touches were from the White Pines Assortment and the Red Sparkles.

Cheers (S1511) Stamp of the Month

November's Stamp of the Month is a great stamp set for the New Year or any DREAM BIG moment, graduation, new job, etc.,

The layout showcases the New Year option, using one of the layouts from the new Fundamental Workshop layouts found on my website. Look for more on the Fundamental Special during the month.
 

The Fundamental Basic paper pack is the neutral colors used here (retired pattern), the new Black pattern would work just as well.

The Gold Fundamental Assortment, Gold Glitter paper, and Black ink round out the products used to create this layout. 3D Foam tape was used to add a little dimension and our journaling pen was used to highlight the title.
